Cassie J. Medura

Ms. Medura attended the University of Utah law school, graduating in the top of her class and as a member of the Utah Law Review. Ms. Medura completed her legal education as single mother of a small child. Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Medura was chosen for a prestigious judicial clerkship with the Utah Court of Appeals. After completing her appellate clerkship, Ms. Medura was employed and became a shareholder at one of Utah’s oldest law firm’s, Vancott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy, where she practiced for twelve years as a litigator in the areas of complex civil litigation and family law. Ms. Medura served on the compensation committee at VanCott and headed the training and mentoring program for the paralegals at the firm.

After developing a strong background and clientele in family law, Ms. Medura started her own family law practice where she could focus exclusively on family law. She brings her extensive experience as a trial attorney to all areas of her family law practice.

Ms. Medura has almost twenty years experience in the Utah legal community and has fostered a strong reputation and relationships with other family law attorneys, professionals, commissioners, mental health professionals and others in the family law community.

While Ms. Medura tries to take a pragmatic approach to the resolution of highly emotional family law disputes, she has the skills, experience, connections and resources to ensure that your family law case will, if necessary, be aggressively litigated to the extent necessary to protect your interests and achieve the best possible outcome.

Ms. Medura served on the Board of the Rape Recovery Center and represents children in many cases as a private Guardian ad Litem. Ms. Medura gives back by volunteering to represent pro bono children and others parties without the resources to hire legal counsel. Ms. Medura’s free time is spent raising her two young daughters and enjoying travel and outdoor activities.
