Allison Librett - Family Law Attorney
Allison began her practice in 2000. She has experience with divorce, pre/post nuptial agreements, custody, paternity, divorce modifications, enforcement of decrees, adoption, grandparent rights, guardianship and protective orders. Before joining Jennings and Medura, Ms. Librett worked five years as an associate with Dart, Adamson & Donovan, Vantott Bagley and Corporon & Williams, P.C. She also also worked as a contract lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia.
Prior to law school, Ms. Librett worked for the Department of Health as a violence and injury prevention advocate and worked with individuals, non-profits and government agencies on developing appropriate plans and protocol for assessing partner abuse and developing programs specifically targeted for the prevention of violence against women. Ms. Librett also served as Executive Director of a local women’s shelter dealing with families in crisis. During law school, Ms. Librett was president of the Women’s Law Group and participated in moot court and appellate court teams. Ms Librett has successfully written two books, entitled Domestic violence: efficacy of health provider training in Utah and Domestic violence: efficacy of health provider training in Utah and Guidelines for assessment, treatment and referral for victims of partner abuse: a reference manual for healthcare providers. Ms Librett is also a certified group exercise instructor facilitating classes at various fitness centers in Salt Lake County.
